History
DelvTech International Pty Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Medi-Stream Pty Ltd. Innovation Capital have invested $2.5M in MediStream and its technologies. DelvTech is responsible for all operations involved with developing the technologies of Medi-Stream. DelvTech was founded to develop innovative equipment and training solutions for overcoming medical exclusions in sports and recreational activities, like scuba diving and snorkeling. Original equipment was targeted at asthmatics.
Whilst developing the SCUBA equipment, other significant opportunities arose. These included inventing similar devices aimed at medicating airstreams in SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) as used extensively in both military and commercial applications for hazardous environments. The concept of being able to medicate airstreams on demand in any hazardous environment proved to be novel and unique “Greenfield’s Opportunity”. Therefore a highly defensible and broad Intellectual Property (patent IP) position was established.
